Joel Dewberry Aviary Tote - WIP

I bought a set of charms in this lovely set of Joel Dewberry Aviary prints.

I opened them last night and started a new quilted charm tote. I'm not sure if I will make it a project bag for crafting or a simple every day tote. Guess it will depend on which mood I am at the time when I get to the lining/pockets. :-)

Knitted Wrap - Finally Finished

I finally finished a UFO that I started back in October. I started it as a baby afghan but stopped short to make it a wrap. I don't have any good photos yet of it actually used as a wrap but it is very pretty. It's also very hard to show the delicate detail of the design with the yarn texture too. This is truly and must touch & feel item. I still need to tie in the end until it's officially complete but just wanted to share it.

OSOA Charity Fabric

I received my first bundle of charity flannel from a wonderful quilter & friend, Nikki. We are making items for Operation Showers of Appreciation, a charity to help support our troops families and holds baby showers to provide much needed items to not only the new babies but a few things for the new moms too.

I am so excited to be able to contribute to this wonderful charity and can't thank my online quilting friends enough for their supports in this effort.

Nikki also made these lovely tissue holders as a little something for the moms.

Stay tuned for finished objects and more fabric to follow.
