What's Hanging on My Design Wall.....

I have had this project hanging on my design wall for almost a year now. It is just simple 4 patch blocks using 2 Moda Marissa charm packs. It's not quite big enough for a baby quilt and way too small for anything else.

I am at a loss on what to do with it. None of my calicos jump out at me and say "hey we match those prints". Maybe I'll just finish it as is and some little girl somewhere can use it for herself and/or her doll.

It might just be big enough too for a small lap/wheelchair quilt now that I think of it. See, I knew blogging would get me to thinking of all the possibilities! :-)

I would think that if you can find a border or 2 fabrics you could have a nice crib quilt. time to take that off the wall & take it shopping with you :)

Your sewing rooms looks very tidy! Yup! It's time to make that little thing into a quilt of somekind. You could always "unsew" ...say 3 horiz. rows and put some complimentary marbles/smeary ones in between the rows of squares, and use the same fabs for borders. ?? Just a thought.

I love the colors and understand how a person can leave something unfinished for a long time as I have done that one. I was really looking at the colors and wondering if you could line all the blocks in diagonal rows and have each row be a different color and then the border. That might make the colors POP
