I have been looking for a nice, big Christmas centerpiece for years but just hate the high prices for something I only use a few weeks each year.
This year, I broke down and made my own using an existing basket I had at home and some Christmas items I bought on Black Friday; not much out of pocket expense.
I think it turned out pretty well AND it's reusable; no live foliage.

I'm somewhat scent sensitive so fresh cut foliage often makes me sneeze. I love your idea! No issues with sneezing, cost effective and you get what you want!
