Strip Twist Block Update

Yay - my twists/twirls are working! I've not sewn the blocks together yet but laid them out to see if it really "moves" and it does - how exciting! LOL Now I'm even more anxious to get this top done - it's gonna be a cutie.

Now I'm undecided on how to finish it; traditional or raggie style? Decisions, decisions.

I really like this one, Teri. Decisions, decisions..raggy or traditional?? I like the idea of quilting it traditional, 'cause I think the raggy would take away some of the "motion" of the colors and pinwheels....it would break it up. Traditional will let it flow and you'll have surprises when joining them if you do it block to block with no sashings. Glad u r enjoying it. Who said we have to work on our UFO'S when we want to start a diff. project?? LOL!

Thanks! I am really liking this one too. I had the same thought about the raggy style breaking up the pattern too much. So, traditional it is after all.

I didn't get much else done w/ it tonight since I seem to be getting my son's sore throat & icky feeling...sigh. Just in time for the long weekend. :-)

On the UFO's, I am being the Queen of UFO's but why should things change, right?! ;-) It'll all get done someday, I just have so many ideas in my head & projects I want to do. As our friend, Lee, says; "Sew much to do, sew little time to do it all".

Teri, I love this pattern. Did you get it from Bonnie at quiltville? I did a quilt like it only used scrappy strips. I made it raggy and really did some fun detailed quilting. I had the quilt out at a craft show this weekend and remembered how much I liked it and decided to make another. If you look at this link to my esty store I have it listed. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21403262

I really like the colors you have chosen for your blocks.Trish
