I'm still playing around with my scrap bins and dug out the insul-brite too.
I made one red cherry & polka dot pot holder and a pair of lime green & orange butterfly pot holders. Between the 6 layers of fabric & the layer of insul-brite, these should be just perfect for the kitchen or BBQ.
I think I'm keeping the cherry one since I don't have enough to make a pair but I'll be listing the butterfly set soon in my shop. I think they'd be great for a summer bbq or cooking poolside.
I almost forgot, these measure 5.5" square. They are on the small side but you don't always need big, bulky pot holders.
